What is EPD Verification?

EPD verification is an independent third-party assessment of an Environmental Product Declaration and its underlying life cycle assessment. The purpose of verification is to confirm that the EPD is prepared in accordance with ISO 14025, ISO 14040/44, and the applicable Product Category Rules, and that the information presented is transparent, consistent, and technically correct.

Why EPD Verification is required?

Environmental Product Declarations are increasingly used for public disclosure, green building certification, procurement decisions, and sustainability communication. Independent verification ensures that the underlying data, assumptions, and results are reliable, compliant with standards, and suitable for their intended use.
